Our Story
From a Small Garage to a Trusted Fleet
phodomy started in 2017 with three vehicles and a modest office near Bùi Viện. The idea came from a gap we experienced first-hand: visitors arriving in Ho Chi Minh City had plenty of motorbike rental options but very few reliable car rental services that catered to self-drive travelers.
We spent the first two years listening — to tourists who wanted weekend getaways to Mũi Né, to expats needing a dependable ride for business trips to Bình Dương, and to local families planning their first road trip to the Central Highlands. Every conversation shaped the fleet and the policies we have today.
By 2020 our fleet had grown to include hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs, each maintained according to a service rotation that leaves nothing to chance. We chose vehicles that are well-supported by local mechanics, because the best insurance against breakdowns is prevention backed by parts availability.
Today, phodomy operates from Quận 1 and serves renters heading to every corner of Vietnam. We are still a small team, and we prefer it that way — it means every booking passes through people who actually care about where you are going and what you will need when you get there.
